Today is my wedding anniversary and even though Carrie looks nice no one will ever look as beautiful as my Heather did 4 years ago.  The day was insanely hot and ever one was sweating more than Richard Simmons tying his shoes but you couldn’t tell with Heather.  I did have tears in my eyes and sweat but my wife was amazing that day and continues to amaze me and inspire me everyday, I love you sweetie

World’s Worst Food

June 23, 2010 – 11:31 am
There just might be something to the stereotype that British food tastes bad.  The United Kingdom has finished first in a poll asking people to name the worst food by country.  More than 2,000 people from over 80 nations participated in the survey on the travel website TitanicAwards.com.  By the way, don't get cocky, America -- food in the U.S. was ranked second-worst, right behind the Brits.  Here's a look at the nine worst countries by food, along with the percentage of the vote each nation received: 1. United Kingdom - 24.6% 2. United States - 10% 3. China - 3.8% 4. Russia - 3% 5. Germany - 2.7% 6. Australia - 2.2% 7. Ireland - 1.9% 8. Philippines - 1.8% 9. The Netherlands - 1.7% I disagree with the poll abit, I love food from the U.K.  Nothing beats greasey fish and chips wrapped in news paper with a deep fried mars bar for desert, every meal comes with a free ...

Why I Love Regina

June 15, 2010 – 2:31 pm
Heather and I have lived in many different towns and cities in the last 7 years and I have to say that Regina is best.  I even like the Queen city more than my hometown of Edmonton, just don’t tell Edmontonions that or they’ll string up by my toes and hang me off the High Level Bridge.  Tomorrow is “I Love Regina” day but I’ve been thinking about my adoration for the capital city of Saskatchewan for a while now.  Every time I go for a run around the Legislature grounds, or take Fern to the dog park or wait in line for my two scoops of Rolo ice cream at the Milky Way I say out loud “man I dig this town”.  I love all the wild animals that call Wascanna park home, from the cute bunnies to the proud goose.  I love the sports here, nothing beats sitting ...

Be In The New Footloose Film…

June 8, 2010 – 2:17 pm
Paramount Pictures is seeking guys ages 18 or older to play high school seniors in the remake of “Footloose,” which will be shooting this summer. According to www.footloosecasting.com, candidates “must have natural rhythm and be comfortable dancing. You don not have to be a trained dancer but a quick learner.” Hopefuls should send their auditions in Quicktime via e-mail to footloosecasting@yahoo.com. The deadline is Wednesday. Director Craig Brewer (music-oriented indie films “Hustle & Flow,” “Black Snake Moan”) has been hired to helm the project from his rewritten script. It will be set in the South in present day. The first “Footloose” film, released in 1984, starred Kevin Bacon as a Chicago teen who moves to a rural community that has a law prohibiting dancing. The film was loosely based on actual events in Elmore City, where students in 1980 convinced the school board to let them organize the school’s first prom, despite an 80-year-old city ...

My Review of Sex In The City 2

June 2, 2010 – 3:30 pm
Last night I was the greatest husband ever.  I took my wife out to a fancy supper and a movie.  We went and got hotdogs while we watched the Sex in the City sequel.  I’m so romantic I know, but I was never the biggest fan of the “gal pal” show or the first movie so it was a sacrifice to go see it.  I felt weird being in the theatre, the estrogen levels were through the roof and I think I could count all the males on one hand. As I was finding my seat one gentleman there gave me a shrug of the shoulders and ask if I was dragged to the show by my lady as well, I let out a sigh and nodded my head.  There was many times during the film that everyone laughed except us five guys, not that we didn’t find it funny, ...

Sexy Accents

November 3, 2009 – 3:14 pm
The luck of the Irish strikes again -- their brogue has just been voted the sexiest accent in a poll of five thousand women worldwide.  The Irish accent was voted number one, knocking out the French after years in the top spot. Britain's Daily Mail says the same survey also found that six in ten women admitted they had been seduced by someone purely because of their accent.  The poll also found that 40 percent of women would much rather go to bed with a guy who had a nice accent compared to someone with a gruff, harsh one. Here are the survey results of the ten sexiest accents in the world: 1. Irish 2. Italian 3. Scottish 4. French 5. Australian 6. English 7. Swedish 8. Spanish 9. Welsh 10. American   What do you think?  I like a deep south accent myself.
