Flavoured air comes to Britain
June 1, 2010 – 12:17 pmAn inhaler that allows chocoholics to submit to their cravings without putting on weight is now available in Britain. It’s called Le Whif, and dubbed the world’s first breathable food lets consumers suck in, yes suck in, the taste of chocolate or coffee while taking in lass than one calorie. It’s a lipstick-style tube and each Le Whif contains enough flavour for about eight to ten puffs. The inhaler is available in chocolate, raspberry chocolate, and mint chocolate , as well as a coffee flavour. The inventor, David Edwards of Harvard University, says Le Whif is not designed to replace food, but could be used to enhance your dining out experience, by allowing people to sample a variety of dishes before ordering their meal. The phrase ” Inhaling you meal” now takes on a whole new meaning.
